Using Spot

Spot lets you join, host and sponsor events, on the web and by text. Give accurate info, keep your account to yourself, and don't use Spot to spam, harass or break the law.

Hosts

Hosts are responsible for their events, including what they promise guests, approvals, refunds and following local rules. Paid tickets are processed by Stripe and paid out to the host's Stripe account. Spot may charge a fee, shown before you publish a paid event.

Guests

Registering shares your profile with the event's hosts. Refunds are up to the host unless the law says otherwise.

Texts

By texting Spot or connecting your phone you agree to get texts about your account and events. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

The fine print

Spot is provided as is. We're not liable for events run by hosts or for indirect losses, to the extent the law allows. We may update these terms and will note the date above. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
